| For 15 years now Transformer has provided a persuasive alternative to heavyweight construction techniques in the construction of new structures, floor additions and building extensions. The Transformer system is practically unrivalled on the market: it provides static load-bearing capacity and can be modified again and again, even years after a structure’s initial construction. | ![]() |
The Cocoon Transformer system is a lightweight steel-frame construction method for use static load-bearing structures. The system’s basic structures are the galvanized cold-rolled light steel frames. Their lightness, high load-bearing capacity and variability of use set them apart from traditional construction methods.

Transformer light steel frames are planked, insulated and assembled into macro-modules at our factory. The macro modules are then delivered to the construction site, ready for assembly.
The system covers interior and exterior walls, floor structures, along with fire barriers and fire prevention walls. Transformer technology is also appropriate as a wall and ceiling substructure for various types of wide-span structures.

Any type of surface application is possible: wood or glass facades or plastering with thermal insulation. Partners licensed by Cocoon complete construction of interiors and add surface finishes and textures.
